Tamara Harutyunyan is a Canadian-Armenian artist living in Toronto since 2003. She graduated from Terlemezyan Visual Art College and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yerevan Pedagogical University. She then continued her studies at the St. Petersburg Art Academy and obtained various diplomas in Toronto.
Tamara is also a Live Painting Performance Artist, creating paintings on stage during concerts with classical, jazz, and rock musicians. Her improvisational approach allows her to translate music into colours and forms in real-time, resulting in unique, expressive artworks.
In addition, she is an art teacher and the founder of Colour Wheel Art School, which she has been running since 2003. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she has inspired countless students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.

​Tamara Harutyunyan has over 20 years of experience teaching visual arts in various schools across Toronto and the GTA. She is the founder of Colour Wheel Art School and offers masterclasses, Paint Nights, and private art instruction for all ages.
You can join her online or in-person classes at any time. Small group classes are organized by age, and the first class is always free to try. Private lessons are also available.
Tamara offers a variety of programs, including portfolio preparation, private art classes, group lessons, and semi-private sessions (2-3 students per class).
